At TEA EXPERT, we believe that choosing the right franchise partner is key to our continued growth and success. Age and Personal Capability
Preferred age between 20 to 45 years old, in good physical health and demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility. Franchisees should ideally have a basic understanding of management and marketing to support the effective operation of the business.
Fully Comply with the Company's Unified Standards
Franchisees are expected to actively participate in company-led campaigns, training programs, and brand initiatives. A commitment of time and energy to the daily operations of the store is essential, especially in the early stage of the business.
Single Store Franchisee Fee
One-Time Franchise Fee: RM50,000 (includes a 3-year contract)
Contract Renewal: RM5,000 per year after the initial 3-year term

Financial Requirements
Franchisees should have a minimum of RM300,000 in liquid assets or equivalent capital. Strong financial stability ensures smooth setup and operations, allowing the franchisee to focus on growth without short-term cash flow concerns.

What are some of the current limitations for improvement that TEA EXPERT is actively working on?Firstly, we’re still relatively new in Malaysia, with six directly managed stores, four in Penang, one in Kuala Lumpur, and one in Johor Bahru, since our expansion began in 2023. While this gives us a solid foundation, we’re still building wider national recognition. That’s why we’re looking for passionate franchise partners to grow with us. Secondly, we’re actively working on improving our customer service experience. We believe great drinks should be matched by great hospitality, and we’re strengthening our training to ensure every customer is greeted with a warm smile. That said, we remain deeply confident in our core strength — our commitment to exceptional drink quality. We always insist on using premium ingredients, and that standard will never be compromised.

How many staff are needed to operate a store?A minimum of 4-5 employees is recommended to ensure smooth operations.

What if I’m new to the tea beverage industry and have no prior experience in opening a store?The headquarters provides one-on-one operational support. From signing the agreement to running your store, a dedicated team member will guide you through every stage of the process.

Do I have to purchase equipment and ingredients directly from the company?Yes. To ensure consistent quality and standardized operations, all equipment and core ingredients must be sourced from the headquarters.

Can I operate more than one outlet?Yes. For experienced and proven franchisees, we encourage multi-store operations. You may be granted priority territory rights along with tailored support from our team to ensure successful expansion.

How long does staff training take?Training typically lasts about 14-20 days. It includes theory, hands-on practice, and in-store internship, enabling trainees to quickly and effectively master the required skills and transition smoothly into store operations.

Who selects the store location?Franchisees are responsible for proposing their preferred store location. However, our team will conduct a professional site assessment to evaluate its potential and suitability based on brand standards.

How long after signing the agreement can the store open?The typical preparation period is 35 to 45 days. However, the actual opening date depends on factors such as renovation progress and staff training completion.

Are there any differences in the drinks or menus between TEA EXPERT Malaysia and the headquarters in China?Yes. In Malaysia, we’ve adjusted and reduced the overall sugar levels to better match local taste preferences, offering a lighter and more refreshing experience. While the core recipes remain true to TEA EXPERT’s standards, certain items may be adapted or localized based on ingredient availability and customer demand.
